Reflection Paper. Mr. and Mrs. Harsh ­Heart believe in the importance of stern discipline and impose strict rules that they expect their children to obey without question. They penalize behavior harshly, frequently with spanking. Mr. and Mrs. Easygoing do not use punishment to enforce their rules and believe in natural consequences teaching lessons and setting limits on behavior. They have regular family meetings with their children to discuss household rules and their importance to the family dynamics. These styles of parenting have their advantages and disadvantages. There are ethical and unethical issues when it comes to discipline with punishment styles as well. The child may simply just behave when parents are around. Some strict parents are not open to ideas and forget to communicate with their children. Which give their children communication problems. The child will feel less confident and more insecure. The feelings of the child won’t be expressed because he may believe his feelings will be criticized or punished. Abstract The purpose of this research is to build on Auginis and Henle (2001) and Auginis, Simonsen and Pierce (1998) by examining the effects of nonverbal behavior on power perceptions of male and female employees in managerial positons. This study will use a 2 (Gender: male vs. female) x 3 (Nonverbal behavior: eye contact vs. facial expression vs. body posture) x 2 (Repeated measures: pre-test vs. post-test) design. Employees in the retail industry will fill out a questionnaire prior to the study pertaining to their general perceptions of male and female employees in managerial positons. The questionnaire will be followed by two video tape recordings, showing a male and female manager engaging in all three types of nonverbal behaviors. After watching each video, the participants will be asked to evaluate their perceptions of the manager’s power bases (reward, coercive, legitimate, referent, and credibility) by filling out a questionnaire. It was established in February 1940 and on November 1, 1941, construction began at this death camp. It was opened for only 9 months and is reported that 600,000 people died there. Belzec had the capacity to kill 15,000 a day. There are only two known survivors. The Belzec concentration camps were built on the orders of Hitler that were passed down to Heinrich Himmler. Himmler, in turn, ordered Odilo Globocnik, the SS commissioner occupying Poland, to construct a camp at Belzec. One of the first gas chambers that were built was at Belzec. Deportees from Cracow, Radom, Galicia, Czechoslovakia, Holland, as well as Belzec went there. Christian Wirth, formerly of the Brandenburg euthanasia program, built the gas chamber. His building contained three rectangular rooms, each about thirteen by twenty-six feet, with ceilings just over six feet high.
